California Harley-Davidson stunt riders 360° video
California Harley Davidson stunt riders 360° video! This is the Harley
Davison stunt riding group called "Straight Up" at the May Ride after
party, in San Marcos California. San Marcos is in San Diego's North
County, about 30 miles north of San Diego City.
This short video was made with the Samsung Gear 360 camera shooting in
4K resolution. If you look to the upper left of your screen you'll see a
little directional indicator and if you point on any of the arrows
there, you can move the video or your view of it, in any direction.
So, if a Harley stunt rider is starting up from the left side of the
screen as they go by, you can hit the right arrow and pan to the right
as they go by, kind of similar to you being there and you would move
your head to the right to keep them in view.

Personally having owned one-off
custom choppers and factory built chopper's, when it comes to riding a
good-looking chopper motorcycle I've zeroed in on just two factory built
custom choppers.
The only two bikes that I now own and would
consider buying newer models of, were both the flagship models of their
motorcycle manufacturers. Yes, I currently own a 2006 American Ironhorse
Texas Chopper and a 2007 Big Dog K-9 chopper.
My American
Ironhorse Texas Chopper has an S&S 111 in.³ engine and a 280 rear
tire. My 2007 Big Dog K-9, has an S&S 117 in.³ engine and a 300 rear
tire. I guess you could say that I really like the wide rear tire
custom chopper look.
In this video I'm using my new Yuneec Typhoon Q500 G to follow me while I'm riding my 2006 American Ironhorse Texas Chopper.
I'm
using their optional Wizard controller which is about the size of a TV
remote controller and allows the drone to lock on to its location. So,
after I set the drone at the desired height and distance, it will
endeavor to follow me.
This 'watch me' mode can keep you in frame
automatically up to approximately 22 miles an hour. In this our first
test of this feature, there was obviously a lag time from the time I
started moving to the time the drone started to move and since I was
being overly cautious, I did not continue at a long enough distance to
give the drone enough time to synchronize its speed with my speed.
But,
all in all, I consider it a good test, at least as far as a first test
goes. In future tests, I hope to find a large enough open and clear
roadway that I could ride for enough time to give the drone more than
enough time to catch up and hopefully keep me and the bike in the video
frame.
If this works out successfully, then I'd like to try
having the drone follow me from the back as well as me riding forward
toward the drone as it backs up as I approach.
Actually, this could really produce some innovative video footage without additional people controlling the drone flight.
